Terms & Conditions of Stay

The terms that apply to reservations, stays, casino entry and services at Banksia Boutique — written plainly, because fine print should still be readable.

Last updated: 1 September 2026

Agreement & Definitions

By making a reservation, checking in or using resort services you accept these terms between you ('the guest') and Banksia Boutique Resort Pty Ltd ('the resort'). They supplement — never replace — rights you hold under the Australian Consumer Law.

Reservations, Rates & Payment

Rates are quoted in Australian dollars, include GST, and are confirmed in writing at booking. A valid credit card or deposit secures every reservation; incidentals are settled at check-out. Advance-purchase rates are prepaid and carry the amendment conditions shown at booking.

The resort may pre-authorise a card for anticipated spend plus a reasonable incidentals bond, released after departure.

Check-in, Occupancy & Conduct

Check-in from 15:00; check-out until 11:00. Registered guests only after 22:00 — visitors are welcome in public areas but do not stay overnight. Smoking is permitted only in signed outdoor areas; suites and indoor spaces are smoke-free.

We ask guests to respect the quiet hours of the resort (22:00–07:00 indoors) and the safety of others on the gaming floor and around the water.

Casino Entry & Gaming Rules

The gaming floor is open to guests 18 years and older with valid photo identification. The casino enforces all NT regulations, including exclusion registers and responsible-play measures described on our responsible play page.

Management may refuse entry or service where required by law or to protect guest welfare and the integrity of play.

Cancellations & No-Shows

Flexible-rate reservations may be changed or cancelled without charge until 72 hours before arrival; inside that window the first night is charged. Advance-purchase rates are non-refundable except where required by law — see our Refund Policy for the full schedule.

No-shows are charged the first night plus any prepaid experiences that could not be resold.

Liability & Property

Guests are responsible for damage caused by themselves or their party beyond fair wear. Valuables should use the in-suite safe or the deposit service at reception; the resort's liability is limited to that required by law.

Personal property left behind is held for 90 days and can be forwarded at the owner's cost.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page applies to bookings made from that date forward. The terms at your booking date are always available on request.
